Revise and simplify flows between products in Augg.io environmnet.

During the initial planning phase, our primary objective was to define a comprehensive, end‑to‑end flow across all ecosystem components—ensuring the user can navigate smoothly between each environment without friction, interruptions, or unnecessary context switches. This meant architecting a user journey that feels entirely seamless: entering the CMS, editing content, purchasing or customizing a template, then moving directly into deployment or scanning—all in a single, coherent experience.

The AR platform supports a wide array of environments, each tailored to specific tasks:

  • Web Front-End: Modular templates for content preview and configuration.

  • AR Scanning & Anchoring App: On‑device tools for placing and adjusting AR anchors.

  • Unity Plugin: Designer‑friendly 3D content creation and import workflow.

  • CMS Dashboard: Central console for managing text, audio, video, and AR metadata.

With multiple entry and exit points into the CMS, it was essential to prototype and validate architectural flows that accommodate diverse user scenarios—edited on web, synced with AR devices, pushed via Unity, or updated in real time.

Streamline the CMS workflow.

We explored multiple architectural models, prioritizing:

Early wireframes and user-testing sessions revealed that template selection and purchase were bottlenecks. We responded by optimizing menu designs and introducing modular UI components—mirroring the usability paradigm of tools like Webflow or Framer. The end result was a flexible yet guided system tailored to rich AR content creation.

Overal ease of use and smooth operation

Our central technical challenge was building a CMS interface that empowers content creators without requiring developer intervention—while still supporting complex AR workflows across web, mobile, and Unity environments. By delivering an architecture that facilitates smooth hops—from template management to live AR integration—we enabled a unified experience that feels both powerful and approachable for the full range of user personas.

As part of the preparation for the next phase of development, I created a design system aligned with the current trends and best practices in AR and broader XR design. This system provides a cohesive visual language and interaction model tailored for immersive technologies.
